  • Preparation: 15 min
  • Cooking: 20 min
  • Makes: 1 serving (280 g)
  • Difficulty: Easy
  • Diets: Non-Vegetarian, Gluten-free
  • Contains: beef, dairy, egg, pork

Ingredients

  • 200 g Potatoes, mashed, ready-to-eat
  • 37.5 g Bacon and beef sticks
  • 25 g Egg, whole, raw
  • 15 g Cheese, Cheddar
  • 0.8 g Spices, onion powder
  • 0.8 g Salt, table
  • 0.8 g Spices, pepper, black

Method

  1. Cook the Bacon: Place the bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until evenly browned and crisp, about 10 minutes. Remove the bacon slices, crumble them, and set aside. Leave the bacon drippings in the skillet.
  2. Prepare the Potato Mixture: In a large bowl, mix together the cold mashed potatoes, beaten eggs, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir in the crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar cheese until well combined.
  3. Form the Patties: Shape the mixture into 8 equal-sized patties.
  4. Pan-Fry the Patties: Heat the bacon drippings over medium heat. Pan-fry the patties in the drippings until they are golden and crisp on each side, about 4 minutes per side.
  5. Serve: Serve hot as a main course or side dish.
