Ingredients
- 50 g Bread, wheat
- 10 g Butter, NFS
- 15 g Jam
Method
- Toast the Bread Place the bread slice in a toaster or on a hot skillet. Toast for 1–2 minutes until golden brown on both sides.
- While the toast is still warm, spread 10g of butter evenly over one side of the bread. Allow the butter to melt slightly for a rich flavor.
- Add Jam Spoon 15g of your favorite jam onto the buttered toast. Spread the jam evenly or leave it in dollops, depending on your preference.
- Serve Serve immediately on a plate. Pair with a hot beverage like tea or coffee for a complete breakfast experience.
- Best Practices Jam Selection: Use a high-quality fruit jam for the best flavor. Popular choices include strawberry, raspberry, or apricot. Bread Options: Whole grain, sourdough, or brioche work well for added variety. Butter Alternatives: Use plant-based butter for a dairy-free option.
- Chef's Notes Crunch Factor: For extra texture, lightly toast the bread on a skillet with a little butter. Flavor Boost: Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt or cinnamon on top for added flavor complexity.
