  • Preparation: 10 min
  • Cooking: 10 min
  • Makes: 1 serving (332 g)
  • Difficulty: Easy
  • Diets: Flexitarian, Non-Vegetarian, Nut-Free, Halal, Kosher
  • Contains: beef, dairy, egg, gluten

Ingredients

  • 100 g Egg, whole, raw
  • 60 g Tortilla, whole wheat
  • 20 g Cheese, Cheddar
  • 50 g Beef jerky
  • 50 g Potato, baked, NFS
  • 30 g Salsa, red, homemade
  • 15 g Sour cream, regular
  • 5 g Ghee, clarified butter
  • 1 g Salt, table
  • 0.5 g Spices, pepper, black

Method

  1. Gather all the ingredients and preheat a skillet over medium heat. Whisk the eggs with a pinch of salt and pepper until well blended.
  2. Cook the Eggs Add butter or oil to the skillet and pour in the whisked eggs. Scramble the eggs gently, stirring until they are fully cooked but still soft. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Cook the Potatoes and Sausage In the same skillet, cook the shredded hash browns until golden and crispy, about 3–4 minutes. Heat the cooked sausage or beef chunks until warmed through.
  4. Assemble the Burrito Lay the tortilla flat on a clean surface. Layer the scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausage, and grated cheese in the center of the tortilla. Add optional salsa or sour cream for extra flavor.
  5. Wrap and Serve Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll it tightly from the bottom to form a burrito. Heat the assembled burrito in the skillet for 1–2 minutes on each side, pressing lightly, to seal and warm it. Serve hot with additional salsa or sour cream on the side if desired.
  6. Best Practices Use Non-Stick Skillet: Prevents the eggs and tortilla from sticking. Prep Ingredients First: Having everything ready makes assembly quick and easy. Customize: Feel free to swap in your favorite breakfast fillings, such as bacon or veggies.
