Ingredients

  • 100 g Beef, ground, 80% lean, raw
  • 30 g Chorizo, fresh (Mexican)
  • 50 g Hamburger buns
  • 50 g Potatoes, russet, raw
  • 20 g Onions, raw
  • 10 g Ketchup

  2. Mix the ground beef with the chorizo (removed from its casing), garlic, paprika and salt.
  3. Shape into a thin patty and cook on a hot griddle for 3-4 minutes per side until well browned and cooked through with no pink inside.
  4. Toast the bun cut side down on the same griddle for 1 minute.
  5. Spread the bun with ketchup mixed with a dash of hot sauce, add the patty and raw onion, and pile the crispy shoestring potatoes on top.
  6. Close the bun, pressing gently so the potatoes stay put, and serve right away while the fries are still crisp.
