- Preparation: 15 min
- Cooking: 9 min
- Makes: 1 serving (117 g)
- Difficulty: Medium
- Diets: Vegetarian
- Contains: dairy, egg, gluten, honey
Ingredients
- 45 g Flour, all-purpose
- 20 g Eggs, whole, raw
- 10 g Milk, whole
- 5 g Sugar
- 12 g Vegetable oil
- 25 g Honey
Method
- Mix the flour, egg, milk and sugar into a smooth, firm dough; rest for 15 minutes.
- Roll the dough thin and cut into thin strips or small pea-sized pieces.
- Heat the oil in a deep pan to 170 °C (340 °F) and fry the pieces in batches for 1-2 minutes until golden and puffed; only a little oil is actually absorbed. Drain well.

- Let cool and set slightly before slicing or breaking into pieces to serve; chak-chak is a festive Tatar treat.
