  • Makes: 1 serving (30 g)
  • Difficulty: Easy

  • Contains: gluten, honey

Ingredients

  • 20 g Flour, all-purpose
  • 10 g Honey

Method

  1. Makes 1 small biscuit (about 30 g); multiply as needed for a full batch of molded biscuits.
  2. Warm the honey gently until runny, then work in the flour to a very firm, smooth dough stiff enough to hold a stamped pattern.
  3. Press the dough firmly into a floured carved wooden mold, or shape by hand into a flat disc and score a pattern with a knife.
  4. Turn out onto a lined tray and bake at 150 °C (300 °F) for 25-30 minutes until firm and deep golden brown.
  5. Cool completely on the tray; the biscuit hardens further as it cools and keeps for weeks in an airtight tin.
