Ingredients

  • 30 g Pie crust, unbaked
  • 25 g Jam

Method

  1. Makes 1 tartlet; multiply by 12 for a full tray. Roll out the pastry and cut a circle to line a small tartlet tin, trimming the edges.
  2. Spoon the jam into the pastry case, filling it about two-thirds full, as it will bubble up as it bakes.
  3. Bake at 200 °C (400 °F) for 12-15 minutes until the pastry is golden and the jam is bubbling.
  4. Cool in the tin for 10 minutes before turning out, as the jam is very hot and firms up slightly on cooling.
