One serving has 168 kcal and 25 g protein, and at least a fifth of a woman's daily need of cobalamin (616%), copper (180%), selenium (113%), zinc (108%), phosphorus (48%) and iron (27%). Ready in 55 minutes.

- Preparation: 25 min
- Cooking: 30 min
- Makes: 1 serving (251 g)
- Difficulty: Hard
- Diets: Pescatarian, Gluten-free, Dairy-free, Low carb
- Contains: shellfish
Ingredients
- 50 g Shrimp, raw
- 40 g Oysters, raw
- 40 g Octopus, raw
- 30 g Squid, raw
- 40 g Tomatoes, raw
- 15 g Ketchup
- 15 g Onions, red, raw
- 15 g Lime juice
- 3 g Cilantro, fresh
- 2 g Hot sauce
- 0.8 g Salt
Method
- Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the octopus until just tender, 25-30 minutes, adding the squid for only the last 1-2 minutes to keep it tender; cool and slice both.
- Cook the shrimp in the same water for 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque, then cool.
- Poach the shucked oysters in the hot cooking water for 1 minute, just until the edges curl, then remove; this avoids the risks of eating them raw.
- Combine the cooled seafood in a bowl with the chopped tomato and red onion, then stir in the ketchup, lime juice, hot sauce and salt to make a tangy cocktail sauce.
- Chill for at least 20 minutes, garnish with cilantro, and serve cold, often with crackers.
