Ingredients
- 55 g Flour, all-purpose
- 30 g Water
- 0.6 g Salt
- 8 g Vegetable oil
- 30 g Chives, fresh
- 5 g Garlic, raw
- 0.2 g Black pepper
Method
- Mix the flour and salt, work in a little of the oil, then gradually add the water and knead into a smooth, soft dough; cover and rest 30 minutes.
- Finely chop the chives and mix with the crushed garlic, pepper and a little of the remaining oil.
- Divide the dough into two balls, roll each out thinly into a circle, and spread the chive filling over one half.
- Fold the other half over to enclose the filling, sealing the edges well, and roll gently once more to flatten slightly.
- Heat a dry griddle or heavy pan over medium heat and cook the bread 3-4 minutes per side, brushing with the remaining oil, until golden-brown spots appear and the dough is cooked through.
- Cut into wedges and serve warm.
