  • Preparation: 10 min
  • Cooking: 300 min
  • Makes: 1 serving (205 g)
  • Difficulty: Easy
  • Diets: Vegan, Gluten-free, Dairy-free

Ingredients

  • 200 g Plums, raw
  • 5 g Sugar
  • 0.3 g Salt

Method

  1. Pit the plums and puree them in a blender with the sugar until completely smooth.
  2. Taste and adjust with a tiny pinch of salt to sharpen the tartness, which is traditional for lavashak.
  3. Line a baking tray with parchment or a silicone mat and spread the puree in a very thin, even layer.
  4. Dry in the oven at its lowest setting, around 60-70 °C (140-160 °F), propping the door open slightly, for 5-6 hours until it's no longer tacky and peels away from the liner in one sheet.
  5. Cool completely, then roll up or cut into strips to eat as a chewy, tangy snack.
