  • Preparation: 10 min
  • Makes: 1 serving (370 g)
  • Difficulty: Easy
  • Diets: Vegan, Gluten-free, Dairy-free

Ingredients

  • 100 g Orange juice
  • 15 g Lime juice
  • 10 g Sugar
  • 200 g Water
  • 10 g Cranberry sauce
  • 15 g Cucumber, raw
  • 20 g Oranges, raw

Method

  1. Chill the orange juice, sparkling water and fruit in advance so the finished drink is properly cold.
  2. In a jug, stir the sugar into the lime juice until dissolved.
  3. Add the orange juice and cranberry sauce (standing in for the grenadine or blackcurrant syrup used in Nigeria) and stir well to combine and give the drink its deep pink-orange colour.
  4. Slowly top up with the sparkling water, stirring gently so it stays fizzy.
  5. Thinly slice the cucumber and orange and add them to the jug or individual glasses filled with ice.
  6. Serve immediately as a refreshing, Fanta-and-Sprite-style non-alcoholic cocktail.
