- Difficulty: Easy
- Diets: Dairy-free, High protein, Low carb
- Contains: beef, egg, gluten, pork
Ingredients
- 70 g Beef, ground, 80% lean, raw
- 70 g Pork, ground, raw
- 25 g Onions, raw
- 10 g Breadcrumbs, dry
- 15 g Eggs, whole, raw
- 0.8 g Salt
- 0.3 g Black pepper
- 0.2 g Nutmeg

- Finely chop the onion and mix it with the beef, pork, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, pepper and nutmeg by hand until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into two portions and shape each into a short, fat sausage shape.
- Wrap each roll tightly in the bacon rashers, overlapping the ends underneath so they hold together.
- Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat and fry the rolls for 12-15 minutes, turning often, until the bacon is crisp and the meat is cooked through with no pink remaining (74 °C/165 °F).
- Rest for 2 minutes, then serve hot, traditionally with mashed potato, gravy and applesauce.
