Käsekrainer
One serving has 582 kcal and 30 g protein, and at least a fifth of a woman's daily need of selenium (82%), cobalamin (62%), niacin (61%), phosphorus (51%), zinc (49%) and thiamin (47%). Ready in 20 minutes.

- Preparation: 5 min
- Cooking: 15 min
- Makes: 1 serving (218 g)
- Difficulty: Easy
- Contains: dairy, gluten, mustard, pork
Ingredients
- 120 g Pork sausages, fresh
- 25 g Gouda cheese
- 1 g Paprika
- 45 g Bread rolls, hard
- 7 g Mustard
- 20 g Onions, raw
Method
- Cut 3-4 deep diagonal slits into each sausage without cutting all the way through, and rub the outside with the paprika.
- Cut the cheese into small sticks and push a piece into each slit — a home-cook version of the cheese that is traditionally ground into the sausage meat itself.
- Grill the sausages over medium heat, or under a hot broiler, for 10-12 minutes, turning often, until the casing is browned, the cheese is oozing, and the sausage is cooked through.
- Meanwhile, thinly slice the onion and warm the bread roll.
- Split the roll, spread with the mustard, and tuck in the sausage and raw onion. Serve hot.
