  • Preparation: 5 min
  • Cooking: 10 min
  • Makes: 1 serving (158 g)
  • Difficulty: Easy
  • Diets: Dairy-free
  • Contains: gluten, mustard, pork

Ingredients

  • 100 g Kielbasa
  • 8 g Mustard
  • 50 g Bread rolls, hard

Method

  1. Score both ends of the cervelat (or another smoked pork-and-beef sausage such as kielbasa, if you can't get it) lengthwise into quarters, about 3 cm deep, so the ends will curl as it cooks.
  2. Grill the sausage over medium-high heat (charcoal or a ridged pan) for 8-10 minutes, turning often, until the skin is browned and the ends have curled back and it is heated through.
  3. Split the bread roll and warm it briefly on the grill.
  4. Serve the cervelat in or alongside the roll with the mustard for dipping.
