One serving has 428 kcal and 20 g protein, and at least a fifth of a woman's daily need of cobalamin (613%), zinc (199%), copper (166%), selenium (161%), manganese (45%) and niacin (41%). Ready in 15 minutes.

- Preparation: 10 min
- Cooking: 5 min
- Makes: 1 serving (190 g)
- Difficulty: Easy
- Diets: Low carb
- Contains: dairy, gluten, pork, shellfish
Ingredients
- 90 g Oysters, raw
- 60 g Bacon, raw

- 5 g Butter, unsalted
- 5 g Lemon juice
- 0.2 g Cayenne pepper

Method
- Shuck the oysters, or use ready-shucked ones, and pat them dry. Stretch each bacon rasher slightly with the back of a knife and cut into pieces long enough to wrap around one oyster.
- Wrap each oyster in a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
- Arrange on a rack and grill under high heat, about 8 cm from the element, for 4-5 minutes, turning once, until the bacon is crisp and the oysters have plumped and firmed.
- Meanwhile, toast the bread, butter it, and cut it into small pieces to serve underneath the oysters.
- Dust with the cayenne and black pepper, squeeze over the lemon juice, and serve immediately while hot.
